WHB is a Brazilian, family-owned company, headquartered in Curitiba/Brazil. The company produces out of its manufacturing plants in Brazil for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive OEMs, in Brazil and abroad, several raw and fully finished components, such as: STEEL FORGINGS: connecting rods, crankshafts, wheel hubs, axle ends etc. CAST IRON: cylinder blocks and heads, bearing caps, bed plates, exhaust manifolds, crankshafts, brake calipers, differential housings, shoulders, slack adjusters, differential cases, wheel hubs, front supports, crankshafts, spider brakes etc. ALUMINUM: cylinder blocks and heads, cylinder head covers, clutch housings, transmission housings, oil pans etc. For the production of raw parts, WHB currently has a total capacity of 250k ton/yr of iron castings (Kunkel Wagner and Disamatic molding lines), 6.5k ton/yr of aluminum castings (HPDC & gravity of up to 23 kg/pc) and 10k ton/yr of steel forgings of up to 17 kg/pc. WHB counts with over 700 machining centers for a variety of components types and sizes. Current customers include: Volkswagen, Scania, FCA, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, CNH, Nissan, Renault, PSA Peugeot Citroen, GM, Ford, Toyota, TRW, Knorr-Bremse, Schaeffler, Allison Transmission, Meritor, Master, Wabco, Chassis Brakes, FPT, AAM, ThyssenKrupp, Mahle, etc. WHB has been a mainstay in precision machined products of the Brazilian automotive market since its founding in 1993. With its state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, which are strategically located near seaports in Curitiba (south Brazil) and nearby Recife (northeast Brazil), innovative technologies and highly skilled and motivated work force, WHB is poised for further growth in the international market.
